A move collecting belongings from two addresses should be quoted as one clearly described route with separate inventories. Adding “one quick stop” late can change the time, access and vehicle plan.
Map each stop
For every address, record the items, floor, elevator conditions, parking and available collection window. Give the mover the destination for each group if you also have multiple delivery points.
Label boxes by origin and destination, such as “Room A → bedroom” and “Storage → study.” Number the groups separately. This makes checking the load easier than relying on the order in which boxes enter the truck.
Check loading order with the provider
A desk collected second may need to be delivered first. Tell the mover about any such requirement before arrival so the crew can decide how to arrange the load. Avoid promising a specific loading method on the crew's behalf.
Confirm who will be present at each stop and how keys are handled. If a friend releases items for you, provide a clear list and obtain their agreement in advance.
Can I add a secondhand furniture collection?
Ask before booking and include the seller's collection conditions. The seller's availability must fit the confirmed route.
What if the second address is not ready?
Contact the provider promptly and agree on a revised plan rather than expecting the crew to wait indefinitely.
