There is no reliable single price for every domestic move in Korea. A useful budget separates transport and labor from packing, difficult access, specialist work and services supplied by other businesses.

Start with your load and route

Describe the furniture, boxed belongings and any unusually large or fragile items. Then describe both addresses and the planned date. A small load with several pickup points is a different job from the same load collected at one entrance.

Access also changes the work. Stairs, a long carry from a legal parking spot, limited elevator availability or a loading time restriction can affect the plan. Confirm the conditions at both ends before requesting a final estimate.

Keep a separate allowance list

Write down possible building charges, cleaning, waste disposal and appliance installation. Mark each as “included in mover's quote,” “paid separately” or “not needed.” This prevents adding the same expense twice or forgetting a third-party appointment.

This guide deliberately gives no nationwide price range: an unverified number would be less useful than a written quote for your actual conditions.

Can a small move cost more than a larger one?

It can require more complex work. Ask which conditions explain the quoted amount instead of comparing room labels alone.

When should I update the quote?

As soon as the date, route, inventory or access plan changes. Save the revised scope together with the revised total.
