Confirm who prepares, transports and reconnects your washing machine. A moving quote that includes carrying the appliance may not include plumbing, stacking or installation work.

Identify the model and setup

Send the provider the model, dimensions and a photograph of its current position. Mention whether it is stacked, fitted into cabinetry or difficult to reach. Check the manufacturer's preparation instructions, including any transport restraints required for that model.

Arrange safe disconnection and management of residual water. Keep necessary supplied accessories together and do not improvise transport restraints from unrelated hardware.

Check the new location

Confirm the available space, water and drainage connections, and the route into the room. Ask who will level and test the machine after installation. If a separate technician is required, coordinate that visit after the appliance has arrived.

Before using it, follow the installation instructions and make sure required transport components have been handled correctly by the responsible person. Stop and seek qualified help if you notice a leak or abnormal operation.

Does full-packing automatically include reconnecting the washer?

No assumption is safe. Put the installation task explicitly in the work scope.

What if I cannot find the original transport accessories?

Ask the manufacturer or an authorized service provider what is appropriate for your exact model before moving day.
